Who’s ready to eat their margarita? This Margarita Fruit Salad recipe has a yummy homemade margarita lime dressing over fresh fruit, a tangy and refreshing fruit salad that has an absolutely gorgeous presentation!

It’s been over a decade since I first posted the recipe for this Margarita Fruit Salad. It’s the perfect summer recipe when fruits are at their peak of perfection and ripeness, and I decided that with Memorial Day right around the corner, the official kick-off to summer, it was time it got a little refresh!
Fruit Salad with Margarita Lime Dressing
The lime margarita dressing works well over citrus fruits, berries, and melons. Think about any flavors you love in a margarita, and this dressing would work! I use flavors that I love in a margarita: watermelon, peach, pineapple, and strawberry. Then, I added green grapes for color. Sometimes, I add nectarines too. You can add anything you would like, it’s really a versatile salad. If you like margaritas, you are bound to like this salad!
Margarita Fruit Salad
I love how bright and colorful, this fruit salad is, it’s like a fiesta in a bowl. The perfect party salad for your summer gatherings, Cinco de Mayo, or just a family meal.
It’s fun to serve it in individual margarita glasses for parties. Rim the glasses in multi-colored sparkle sugar, or in margarita salt or salt and Jajin for a spicy alternative.

Non-Alcoholic version: To make this salad without alcohol, use one of the many non-alcoholic margaritas available, and use orange juice in place of the Triple Sec.
Whisk together salad ingredients.
Place the cubed fresh fruit into a large bowl.
Pour the dressing over the salad. Stir together and refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
