Pear Bread

The two sponsors that I am highlighting for this Pear Bread recipe today are Nordic Ware and Eggland’s Best Eggs.  I purchase Eggland’s Best eggs frequently, because with the amount of baking I do, I go through a lot of eggs.  I have quite a few different baking dishes from Nordic Ware, that I have acquired over the years.

Pear Bread

They sent me this gorgeous Wildflower Loaf Pan to use for an Easter Brunch Week recipe.  I knew exactly what I was going to make.

My friend, Gerry, gave me this recipe a couple of years ago.  I printed it off and tucked it away.  I would happen upon it every so often making a scattered mental note to make it, as it seemed when I came across it, I never had any pears!

As soon as I laid eyes on that beautiful loaf pan, I knew what would be the first thing I baked inside of it.

Pear Bread

^Love it? Pin It!^

We loved this bread.  We are huge fans of banana bread, and I make it all the time.  My Banana Bread Recipe always gets rave reviews.  This bread became a quick new favorite.  It turned out nice and moist, with those chunks of pear inside.  It was perfectly spiced, and I even dusted it with some cinnamon sugar to really make that wildflower design pop!

It was enjoyed a couple of mornings for breakfast, as well as an after school snack.
