Easy Weeknight Dinner For the Win!
Have you ever had those little smokies that are wrapped in bacon then baked in brown sugar? These are kind of like that. But with a little bit of heat.
We typically eat them as a meal, but they also make a great appetizer. Consider cutting them in half again, to make them a bit smaller though.
How to prepare these Sweet & Spicy Bacon Wrapped Chicken
The recipe starts with 4 chicken breasts, cut into thirds.
Lay each chicken piece in a 9×13 baking dish, coated with 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil.
Sprinkle chicken with spices, flip them over and sprinkle the other side.
Wrap each piece of chicken with a slice of bacon. Cover with brown sugar. Bake until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F. In about 35 minutes, the bacon is crispy and it is OH SO GOOD!

Bacon Wrapped Recipes
Wrapping foods of all kinds in bacon is never going to go out of style. It adds a whole new level of flavor to foods. Whether you are wrapping fruits, veggies, seafood or meats, it will give a whole new meaning of love for the item.
In meats, it adds not only flavor, but fat, and moisture to the meat. But if you’re like me, and you typically reach for the thick sliced bacon, save that for Sunday breakfast. Using regular cut bacon to wrap foods is always a better idea. That gives the bacon a chance to crisp up, and the meat inside will not be overdone in the process.
