What’s better than ice cream in the summer?

Homemade Ice cream! Make it homemade chocolate ice cream… bonus!

Make HOMEMADE FROSTY’S like Wendy’s has with your kids on a hot summer’s night right in your own kitchen?

Home Run!

Homemade Frosty's

We got the ice cream machine out the other night after an evening spent in the back yard.  We decided to make homemade frosty’s.  The best thing about this recipe?  The ingredients are typically on hand in most kitchens.

Only 4 ingredients!

Dump it all in the ice cream maker, let it do it’s job for about 30-40 minutes and you have frosty’s of a malt like consistency.

If you are patient enough, or lucky enough to have extras, place it in the freezer and scoop it out for a consistency like you see here!

And I got to use my new cute little malt spoon-straws I ordered on Zulily!

LOVE THEM!

  1. I did make this recipe and it was good. I think next time though, I’m going to whip up some real cream instead of using Cool Whip. There is just some much junk in that product and, to me, gives everything an artificial taste. Thanks for the recipe!
