Chocolate Orange Banana Bread

I love banana bread. In fact, dare I say I have the best banana bread recipe? It’s so good that I named it “the last banana bread recipe you’ll ever need.” Because, once you make it, you’ll quit looking for the perfect recipe.

Baking with bananas is one of my favorite things because I don’t know about you, but I tend to have a large number of bananas go brown when I buy them.  Sometimes, I don’t have time to whip any up, so guess what?  I toss them in the freezer until I get the hankering for something made with bananas!

How to freeze bananas

Yep! I just throw the bananas in the freezer, skins and all! When you take them out to use them, set them on your counter to thaw,
and you can squeeze the ripe banana out one end into your bowl, kinda like soft serve!

A long time ago, I found a recipe on Pinterest for a Chocolate Orange Banana Bread, and I LOVE chocolate orange, so I was sold.
I used (most) of the recipe but where the original called for chopped white chocolate, I used white chocolate chips and semi-sweet ones, too.

You can call this a bread to make yourself feel better, but between you and me, you will feel like you are eating moist chocolate cake.
Grab a glass of milk…or your favorite cuppa…and partake in the goodness!!
