Ingredients
Bar Ingredients:
- 1 cup salted butter softened
- 1 cup light brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
Filling Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
Icing Ingredients:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup whole milk
- 1 Tablespoon light brown sugar
- ½ Tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Start by making your cookie dough. Combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Use an electric hand mixer to whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
- Whisk in the eggs until they are well incorporated with the butter mixture. Add the baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and flour. Whisk again until no dry pockets remain in your cookie dough.
