Air Fryer Meatballs

Easily customized to suit your taste preferences, you can add other seasonings to spice them up or throw in fresh or dried herbs like basil, oregano, thyme, or rosemary. For gluten-free meatballs use gluten-free breadcrumbs or use gluten-free oats instead. Or, stir in finely diced peppers, mushrooms, or any of your favorite vegetables which is a great way to get more nutrients into your meatballs.

  • Onion – Any type of onion, finely diced is good. 
  • Olive oil – Extra virgin is best but any kind of olive oil will work. 
  • Parsley – Use chopped fresh parsley.
  • Seasonings – Use a combination of garlic powder, onion powder, dried rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper to add flavor to the meatballs. Adjust the seasonings to your taste.
  • Parmesan cheese – Freshly grated parmesan adds a natural saltiness to the meatballs. 
  • Panko – Panko bread crumbs help bind the meatballs together. You can use regular breadcrumbs or gluten-free breadcrumbs. 
  • Egg – A lightly whisked egg acts as a binder to hold the meatballs together.

Place all the ingredients into a large bowl.

Mix until the ingredients are fully incorporated and well combined.

Scoop the meat mixture out and roll it into balls. Use about 2 Tablespoons of mixture per meatball.

Place the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry for 8 minutes then flip the meatballs and air fry for another 4-6 minutes or until cooked through.

  • 1 pound ground turkey turkey mince
