Marshmallow-y sweetness swirled around graham cereal and chocolate chips. So irresistible!
Who says the whole tray of goodies on your holiday platter have to be red and green sugar coated? I love to have a wide assortment of treats, so there is something for everyone! Who doesn’t love S’mores? Even the word indicates that you are going to be having more than one!
These delectable little treats do just that. Once you have one, you will be reaching for another. Never fear, this recipe makes a whole 9×13 baking dish. So there will be plenty to enjoy.
I got this recipe from Well Dined, a blog hosted by Sarah, a fellow foodie in The Secret Recipe Club. This month, we have a special reveal day, that is centered around Holiday Treats. Instead of baking within our groups, we were assigned bloggers from other groups, and that led me to Sarah’s blog. Sarah and her husband, Jasper, are avid foodies who love eating out. Sarah started her blog as a review of the restaurants they visited. Like many blogs, it grew and morphed into something else along the way. Now Sarah focuses on cooking at home, and posting the recipes she makes for her and her hubby. I can’t wait to try her Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins and Salted Caramel Apple Hand Pies.
You all know that I love to bake, especially around the holidays! Sure, I have my tried and true, family favorites that everyone expects to see on the cookie/candy tray. I try, however, to add something new to the lot each year, and these are perfect, don’t you think? Plus, they are SO EASY – and you just cut them into bars ad Ta-Da! Done.

S'mores Treats
Marshmallow-y sweetness swirled around graham cereal and chocolate chips. So irresistible!
Ingredients
- 1 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 cups Golden Grahams Cereal
- 6 cups miniature marshmallows, divided
- 5 Tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Place your chocolate chips in the freezer while you prepare the recipe. Line a 9x13 pan with aluminum foil and spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
Spray a large bowl with non-stick cooking spray, and pour in cereal. Add 1 cup of the marshmallows to the cereal.
In a large microwave safe bowl, microwave the remaining marshmallows and they butter for 20 second intervals, until melted. Stir in salt and vanilla until smooth. Pour over the cereal.
Gently stir to coat. When coated, add chocolate chips and give a quick stir to incorporate. Stirring too much will cause the chips to melt.
Press into baking dish, and ;et set for 1 hour. Release foil from pan, and cut into squares.
Store in an air tight container. Best if consumed within a few days, or the cereal will begin to get soft.
