I am so super excited to share this recipe for Lemonade Chex Mix with you all today! Not only have I had to keep it under wraps for weeks now, it comes with a bonus review of Gemma Lynn Touchstone’s new book “Party Style – Kids’ Birthday Parties from Baby to Sweet 16.”

You all know how much I LOVE to throw a party, right?
I was instantly in love with the book the moment I opened it. I was hooked! The ideas, the recipes and the breathtaking photography made you want to pour over each and every page… then start all over again.
I had fun taking the “Determine your party style” quiz in the front of the book. As it turns out I am a cross between Visionary and Pinning Host. Not surprising. I love to pour over ideas and recipes, saving and narrowing them down to the perfect fit. There is nothing more fun to me than throwing a themed party!

Lemonade Chex Mix
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 4 teaspoons lemon zest
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 9 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Pour cereal into a large bowl, set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, chips, zest and juice. Whisking continually until melted and smooth. Pour over cereal. Stir to coat, being careful not to break the cereal.
- Pour cereal into a brown paper bag, dump the powdered sugar in, and gently shake to coat completely.
