Call me ignorant, but I never knew you could put eggs in ice cream. This is why I love other Foodies…there is always something new to be learned.
I still keep thinking about why your ice cream maker didn’t work, especially if you only used it once??? lol…knowing my b/f the way I do, I know he would tear the thing apart like your husband did. I guess that old saying “use it or lose it” really does hold true.

Thanks, Candi. They are a whole set I got for my birthday. I was so tickled to use them!!
Sherrismiles, I know!! It looks BRAND NEW. It was weird, the motor worked when it was apart but not when he screwed it back together?? All the while the kids are standing behind him saying “now we don’t get ice cream?!?!” I have a feeling that thing will get taken apart again…now it’s just not on a deadline! 🙂 The recipe I use is from an old church cookbook and yes, eggs! 🙂 It’s so darn good!!

Vanilla Ice Cream is always a good choice because of all the different toppings you can put on it. So Happy I found this recipe so I can now make my own.
