Seriously, friends. You just have to try these. Last weekend, our football team had an away game, so we had a little watch party here at the house. Our team literally lost the game in the last two minutes. It was awful. But at least we had some amazing snacks to drown our sorrows in.
I made these Bacon Wrapped Hot Brussels Sprouts before the game started, and cooked them up for half time. I made part of the batch in the air fryer, and the other in the oven. Because we all need options, right? They took less than half the time in the air fryer, but both methods were ready to eat in about 30 minutes.
They were amazing just how they were, wrapped in bacon. But then, I had an idea. I had some smoked white cheddar cheese in the fridge, and I whipped up a little cheese sauce. It totally took them to the next level.
Have you tried the pickled Brussels Sprouts from Paisley Farm? They come in two flavors, Dilled and Hot. Either would be great for this recipe, but I used the hot. We enjoy both of the flavors, but the hot ones are mine and my kids’ favorites.
The most common misconception is that people that don’t like spicy won’t be able to tolerate them because they will be too hot. They are pickled with red peppers and have a medium heat to them. Nothing that should hinder you from giving them a try.
I loved that bit of heat they gave off, coupled with that salty crisp bacon.
But dunked in that cheese sauce? It really did add a whole other level of flavor to these already fantastic bacon wrapped hot Brussels sprouts!

PAISLEY FARM BRUSSELS SPROUTS:
Paisley Farm Brussels Sprouts are full of flavor and ready on demand. Serve them straight from the jar or add them to your favorite recipes. Paisley Farm Brussels Sprouts are vegan, too! (of course that kind of goes out the window when you wrap them in bacon.)
But we love them on cheese platters. Did you see the Mediterranean Cheese Board I made? I opened a jar of the dill flavor, and added them. So good!
Another quick way to use them? Open a jar and add them to a salad. We used the dill flavor in this Greek Cauliflower Rice Salad, and they were perfection!
Last year, as a Thanksgiving side dish, I used the Paisley Farm Hot Brussels Sprouts to make this Brussels Sprouts Gratin. Open a jar, added some white cheddar cheese and some bread crumbs to the top.
You can find the 24 ounce sized Paisley Farm products at all Kroger and Kroger affiliate stores.
Like I mentioned, you only need two ingredients. A pound of bacon and a jar of Paisley Farm Hot Brussels Sprouts. Cut the bacon in half and roll them up!
They cook up in the air fryer in about 10 minutes.
Super crispy and no grease!
If you want to bake them in the oven, put a wire rack over a cookie sheet, and then the grease will fall into the pan.
Baking in the oven will take a bit longer.
Mine were done in about 35 minutes. Of course, depending on your oven, your air fryer, or how done you like your bacon, times will vary. Just keep an eye on them.
Insert toothpicks and serve them hot.
^Love it! Pin it!^

Bacon Wrapped Hot Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
For the Brussels Sprouts
- 1 24 ounce jar Paisley Farm Hot Brussels Sprouts, drained
- 1 pound bacon cut in half
For the Smoked White Cheddar Cheese Sauce (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup white smoked cheddar cheese shredded
Instructions
- Take a half piece of bacon and wrap a Brussels Sprout. Continue doing so for each.
- Place each wrapped Brussels sprout seam side down either in your air fryer basket or on a wire rack over a cookie sheet.
- To prepare in an air fryer: cook at 400 degrees for approximately 10 minutes. Take care not to crowd them in the basket. You may need to do these in a couple of rounds.
- To prepare in the oven: Place wrapped Brussels sprouts seam side down on a rack over a cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes, or until your bacon is cooked to your liking.
- If you want to serve with the cheese sauce, simply melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk into butter to create a roux. Add milk and whisk until there are no lumps. Whisk in the cheese and reduce the heat. Whisk until smooth.
- Serve Brussels sprouts hot, on toothpicks, with or without cheese sauce.
