Fresh cut blooms and real cranberries make this super easy, super pretty centerpiece.
I am actually blogging the centerpiece that my Mom and I made for her Thanksgiving table LAST year. I mean, it would have been weird to blog it after the fact last year, right? I tucked it away, so I could share with you THIS year though — and I am so happy that I did.
They couldn’t have been easier to make. Basically you need two glass containers, one large(r) and one small(er). The small one fits inside the large one, with just enough room to drop fresh cranberries down in between them. Fill them all of the way to the top to hide the vase inside. Fill the inside vase with water and fresh cut blooms (we got ours at Costco) cut shorter to mask the top of the vase. Plus, it’s nice to have shorter centerpieces, so you can see across the table.
We made two centerpieces, and it took almost 3 bags of cranberries. Each vase held three very large multicolored sunflowers.
Perfect for Thanksgiving, don’t you agree?
Don’t forget to grab some extra cranberries to make up some of my Mom’s delicious Cranberry Sauce!
Happy Thanksgiving!
