A mocha crust, filled with a decadent coffee cheesecake and topped with a sweet cream and coffee toffee pieces.

How does that saying go? If life gives you chocolates, make cheesecake? Okay … it’s not like that — but that is precisely what I did when I was shipped some very delicious See’s Candies!
I am working with Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM), Frigidaire Gallery and See’s Candies to bring you this post. NFM contacted me about doing a Valentine recipe challenge using See’s Candies. You all know how much I love Valentine’s Day — so of course I was on board. All I knew was that I was being sent some chocolates, and I got to develop a recipe with them. I had no clue what I was being sent.
Well, let me tell you, it was sent the best of both worlds. Chocolate covered coffee candy. It’s like they were reading my mind! See’s describes them as “Krispys.” I would best describe them to you as a coffee flavored toffee dipped in chocolate. Each one is individually wrapped, and perfectly portable. (I may or may not have one tucked in my purse right now …)
Now I was challenged to develop a recipe worthy of this delicious coffee chocolaty goodness!
It starts with a mocha crust, made with cocoa and vanilla wafers.
The inside is a coffee flavored cheesecake with bits of the See’s Candies’ Cafe Latte Krispys. I then topped it with a sweet sour cream and sprinkled with chopped bits of the chocolate candies.
To say this cheesecake was a slice of heaven would be no exaggeration.
Right now there is a promotion going on at Nebraska Furniture Mart. From February 3 -16, 2016 you will receive a complimentary box of See’s Chocolates with any Frigidaire Gallery purchase. During this time, NFM will be offering 36-month financing on Frigidaire Gallery purchases, and all Frigidaire Gallery products will be on sale. You may wonder what Nebraska Furniture Mart and See’s Candies have in common? Well, they are actually sister companies, owned by Berkshire Hathaway. You may have heard of a very famous Omahan, named Warren Buffet? Well, I have shopped at Nebraska Furniture Mart my whole life, and one of the biggest treats is stopping in at the See’s Candy Shop while I am there, to sweeten the deal, so to speak.
