This sparkling white snack mix is dressed up for the holidays. White chocolate, marshmallow, chex, popcorn and pretzels. Just a hint of mint.
Winter Wonderland Snack Mix is the perfect name for this gorgeous white mix. It’s by far the prettiest snack mix I have ever made — and quite possibly the tastiest!
I have been kicking the idea around of an all white snack mix for a while, and I decided that Christmas Sweets Week and the holidays were the perfect time.
It started with a jazzed up version of my “Crack Corn” recipe. Crack corn is candy coated popcorn, that I typically just dust with sprinkles. This time I coated it in candy and then sugar crystals and powdered sugar.
Next up, I made a little chex mix that resembled puppy chow, without the peanut butter.
You can do one of two things. You can coat the chex in with melted white chocolate OR use vanilla candy melts or vanilla almond bark. I used almond bark, because I already had it out for the popcorn. After the cereal was coated, I dusted it with powdered sugar like you would puppy chow or muddy buddies.
I added some white jimmies and candy pearls, and a little silver sugar dust. All dressed up in winter white!
It’s time to mix it all together. So, we have the popcorn, and we have the chex. Next up, I added in some mint M&M’s (I picked out the white ones!) Some white chocolate mint pretzels that I found, they are even snowflake shaped!! And these dipped marshmallows that I dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles.
Can we talk about these marshmallows?!?!
They took a little bit of time, but everyone loved them! They were such a fun glittery addition!
I also made the big jumbo ones! Aren’t they AWESOME??
Melt white chocolate, add some different sprinkles and sugars to some ramekins, and use with lollipop sticks or some straws worked nicely, too. Poke the straw into the marshmallow, dunk it in white chocolate, then coat it in sprinkles.
I turned them upside down to set. These make fun little gifts, or would make great favors for a party!
Super simple to add them to a cellophane bag and tie them up with tulle. Wouldn’t these be awesome at a wedding shower?

Mix it all together, and *poof*! The most beautiful snack mix you ever did see. I did add some more sparkling sugar, and I also found those teeny tiny marshmallows, they were vanilla flavored. Perfect!

So yummy! This would be perfect at my Christmas party!
Oh my gosh this looks crazy delicious and totally addictive. This would make an awesome holiday gift in a mason jar with a colorful ribbon. Thanks for the idea!
This winter wonderland snack mix is the prettiest I’ve seen. I love making snack mixes for my kids class parties and this will be perfect for any holiday party!
Your winter wonderland mix must really be the most beautiful Christmas snack I’ve ever seen. I think I would probably pick out the candy-coated popcorn. Although it is high in sugar it still provides a huge amount of healthy fiber:)
I love to make Italian Struffoli Honey Balls every year at Christmas. My husband’s Italian grandmother taught me how to make this delicious dessert.
We make fudge each year to give away as gifts. Otherwise we love to make new treats each year!
Love this snack mix mixture! Looks so great!

OH MY GOODNESS! I had a dear friend who would make this for our whole office every year during CHristmastime1!!! What great memories. Now I know her secret–White chocolate, marshmallow, chex, popcorn and pretzels. Just a hint of mint. YES!
This is so creative. I have never tried something like this before. This is absolutely fantastic!
What a fun snack mix. Brilliant idea for the holidays and I absolutely adore those marshmallows dipped in white chocolate and festive sprinkles!
I mostly make tried and true family favorites like oatmeal fudge, Reese’s temptations, chocolate covered cherries, and all kinds of cookies. My nieces make all new recipes every year.
This does not shiw how to make mini marshmallow with the sprinkles!
Ann — You must have missed it. It’s actually in there twice. 😉 Once in the photo instructions and once in the recipe card. Please let me know if you have trouble finding it, happy to help.
How long does this keep? Can it be frozen like other chex mixes can?
I think this would be just fine to freeze!
