Pink PussyCat Martini

A couple of weekends ago, I was cooking in the kitchen and my hubby was sitting at the counter.  Typically on Sunday while we are making dinner we have a “Red Beer.”

(beer + tomato juice)

I said, let’s break out of the box today, and make something new!

I grabbed the Bartenders Handbook, and tossed it to him.

We laughed as he was reading through the names of them. (Wow! there are some CRAZY ones!)

A lot of them sounded good, but we ended up missing one of the key ingredients.  He happened upon the recipe for a Pink Pussycat Cocktail, served in a highball glass and made with gin.  I decided to switch it up and make it a martini, and use Grey Goose.  Mainly because Grey Goose is where it’s at. 😉
