What are you doing for New Years?
We do the same thing every year. We have dinner reservations at Bella Vita, our favorite little Italian bistro here on Main Street in our home town. After dinner, everyone comes back to our house and we stay put for the night.
Typically we have New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on the TV to watch the ball drop, listen to the local station when midnight comes around, and play board games.
The last two years I have shared new dip recipes with you the week before New Years. Who couldn’t use a new appetizer to take along, or enjoy right in the comfort of your own home??
Especially one with BACON — am I right??
I got this recipe from my niece, Barbie. The same person that I gave me the recipe for {Award Winning} Crack Dip.
It comes together quickly, using center cut bacon, cream cheese, mayo, green onions, Swiss cheese and stone ground mustard.
Mix it all together and spread it into a shallow baking dish.
Bake it up for about 15 minutes and serve it up with crackers, breads, bagel chips, pretzel chips or even veggies like carrots or celery.
Watch it disappear.
