Love everything bagels? Make the spice, use it on breads, on homemade bagels and even to make dips!! You won’t go without it in your pantry again!
What’s YOUR favorite kind of bagel? Mine is, hands down, the everything bagel. We almost always have them on hand for lunch as sandwiches or for breakfast, of course.
That’s why when I saw that my friend, Jennifer, from Take Two Tapas made Everything Bagel Spice, I was in love. It’s been printed out as a “can’t wait to make item” for months now. I decided to FINALLY take the plunge! Jennifer took her Everything Bagel Spice and turned it into a dip that she served with bagel chips. You know how I love a good dip — so I did the very same thing.
Everything Bagel Dip
It’s delicious! I had a really hard time leaving it alone!! I made it in the morning, and we actually noshed on it in place of lunch. It’s, of course, prefect with the bagel chips, but it was really delicious on pretzels, too.
I had every intention of making some homemade bagels with it, (total bucket list item for me) but I haven’t gotten that done yet.
I also want to try making homemade soft pretzels!! What’s about Everything Bagel Soft Pretzels?!? Is that a thing? It should be!!
So now Everything Bagels AND Everything Soft Pretzels need to happen!!
I want to make these Homemade Egg Bagels from Life Currents, Low Carb Pumpkin Bagels from The Foodie Affair and these Cranberry Walnut Bagels from Mildly Meandering!
#MakeAllTheThings
It is super simple to make. I just changed a couple of things from Jennifer’s recipe. She used both white and black sesame seeds, and I only had white on hand. I made one addition, caraway seeds, because my favorite bagels have those, and even though they are one of those things I like in small quantities, I thought it would be nice to have them in the mix.
So. Darn. Good.
I love these little Ball Dried Herb Jars. They worked perfectly for my Everything Bagel Spice.
Ready to mix some up? Let’s get to it!

I made this dip and it definitely was everything and more. I literally had to make myself stop eating it. It’s that delicious.
