LEMON BASIL PASTA SALAD

Pasta dredged with olive oil, mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, and zest is topped with freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and shredded basil in this Lemon Basil Pasta Salad.

STEP ONE 

Cook pasta al dente according to the package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water from the pot before draining.

While the pasta cooks, prepare the lemon dressing.

Combine olive oil, mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and lemon pepper seasoning in a small bowl.

Shake off any excess water from the pasta and toss it in a large bowl with the sauce, reserved pasta water, Parmesan cheese, and basil.
