These are the best Crock Pot French Dip Sandwiches you'll ever eat! This recipe is such a classic and incredibly easy to make. Perfectly tender and satisfying, Homemade au jus, melty provolone cheese, layered on top of the tender beef sandwiched between crispy hoagie rolls. This slow cooker sandwich changed my life!

Instructions
Place the roast in the crockpot, cover with onion soup, minced garlic, and sliced onions. (+ mushrooms if adding)
Pour soy sauce and water over the top.
Cover and slow cook on low all day. (6-8 hours) The meat will literally fall apart.
Shred meat and place back in the slow cooker.
I like to toast our hoagie rolls in the oven for about 3 minutes.
Place a slice or two of cheese on each hoagie roll, top with meat.
Serve with the au jus it made on the side for dipping.
Notes
I highly recommend using a chuck roast for this recipe to get that fall apart tender meat!*If you are lucky enough to live where you can buy Rotella Hoagie rolls, toast them in the oven for about 3 minutes on 375 degrees. It makes them perfectly crusty! Mmmmm.
