  • 5.5-6 pounds of Corned Beef I prefer the flats

  • 1 head of green cabbage quartered
  • 3 cans of Irish Potatoes New Potatoes
  • Loaf of Rye Bread optional

Instructions

  • Place corned beef and its juices in the crockpot, fat side up. Sprinkle with the contents of the enclosed seasoning packet.
  • Pour water over the top to cover the meat.
  • Cook on high for about 6 hours.
  • Reduce to low. Pour potatoes in. Place cabbage on top and cover once again.

Notes

Add carrots to the pot halfway through the initial cooking time if you want them.
I prefer the corned beef flats - but this is only my opinion.
