Ingredients

  • For the puffles:
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • For the Peaches 'n Cream:
  • 1/2 large peach sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Warm maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  • Gently roll out puff pastry and using a rolling pin spread into an even rectangle.
  • Using a cereal sized bowl cut a circle. (reserve excess)
  • Preheat waffle iron. Place one circle of puff pastry on the waffle iron. Close lid and cook for approximately 8 minutes. (watch carefully on the first one, all waffle irons are different)
  • Combine cream, vanilla and sugar in your mixer to make whipped cream. This makes a pretty generous amount for two people. Feel free to cut it in half if you prefer less.
  • Plate puffles, top with fresh peaches, whipped cream and warm maple syrup.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Toss those extra pieces on the waffle iron and make some more! They don't have to be perfect to taste good! ;)
