Brussels Sprouts Gratin

Ingredients

  • 1 24 ounce jar of Paisley Farm Hot Brussels Sprouts, drained and quartered
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sharp white cheddar Or substitute Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 1/8 cup bread crumbs
  • paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees and spray a small baking dish with non-stick olive oil cooking spray.
  • Place quartered Brussels sprouts in the dish.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour, then slowly whisk in milk until there are no lumps. Melt in cheese.
  • Pour over Brussels sprouts and spread over the top.
  • Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Dust with paprika.
  • Give a light spray of olive oil to the the top.
  • Bake until hot and bubbly and crumbs are golden brown. About 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

Also good to add crumbled bacon to the top.
