Honey Bourbon Sauce

Buttery sweet honey sauce,  with a touch of bourbon and vanilla, is perfect for topping just about anything from cakes and breads to ice cream and from meats and fish to veggies.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup raw honey

Instructions

  • Melt butter with brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Pour in bourbon and stir to let the alcohol burn off. About one minute.
  • Add vanilla, stir.
  • Add in honey, and heat through.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a month.
