Lean ground beef, rice, cabbage and tomatoes. simmered together to make this simple, yet hearty Cabbage Roll Soup. All of the flavors of stuffed cabbage rolls, in a bowl.
In your soup pot, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain any excess fat.
Add cabbage and combine to wilt for about 5 minutes.
Add the remainder of the ingredients into the pot. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
Notes
** To prepare in the crock pot, add browned ground beef and remaining ingredients to your slow cooker, and cook on low for about 5 hours.Store leftover soup in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. In the freezer, the cabbage soup will keep for up to 3 months.
