Prevent your screen from going dark
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 cups seedless watermelon cut in small chunks
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan on the stove, stirring until sugar is dissolved. (you have just made simple syrup) Set aside to cool.
In your blender or food processor, puree melon. Depending on the size of machine you are using you may need to do this twice.
Add sugar and lemon to pureed watermelon. Stir to combine.
Pour into an 8x8 baking dish, cover and place in the freezer to freeze.
Either scoop into a dish (like we did) or puree again for a finer consistency.
