Ingredients
For the Cookie Dough:
4Tablespoonsflour
2Tablespoonsgranulated sugar
½teaspoonbaking powder
3Tablespoonssalted buttermelted
2Tablespoonsmilk
½teaspoonalmond extract
½teaspoonmulti colored sprinklesoptional
For the Frosting:
1 ½Tablespoonsbuttersoftened
¼cuppowdered sugar
¼teaspoonwhole milk
2dropsalmond extractmore or less to taste
Instructions
Make the Cookie Dough:
In an 8-ounce microwave-safe mug, melt the butter. (15 seconds)
Stir in the milk and extract until combined.
Mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder into the butter mixture until incorporated.
Fold in sprinkles.
Microwave the mug on high for 40 to 60 seconds, or until the cookie is firm but not hard.
Cool slightly before frosting.
Prepare the frosting:
Whisk softened butter in a small bowl until creamy.
Add the powdered sugar in a little at a time, creaming in each addition completely with the small whisk.
Add in the milk and the extract, and whisk until smooth.
Pipe or spread over the top of the cooled cookie and dust with more sprinkles if desired.
