Peanut M&M Peanut Butter Pie

Peanut butter fans, this is for YOU! Oreo and Peanut M&M cookie crust line the pie plate, then it is filled with a fluffy, peanut butter cheesecake-like deliciousness, and topped with more peanut M&M's.  This Peanut M&M Peanut Butter Pie is a colorful, yummy, peanut butter lovers dream come true!

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 25 Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1/3 cup Peanut M&M's
  • 5 Tablespoons unsalted butter melted

For th Filling:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces whipped topping thawed

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup Peanut M&Ms roughly chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

To Make the Crust:

  • Pulse up the sandwich cookies in a food processor, add the Peanut M&M's and pulse just so they are not whole. Mix in the melted butter and press into a pie plate. Bake for 5 minutes, until sets. Let the crust cool while you prepare the filling.

To Make the Filling:

  • In a stand mixer cream together the peanut butter and cream cheese. Mix in the powdered sugar and fold in the whipped topping. The mixture should be smooth and fluffy. Spoon into the cooled crust and refrigerate for a couple of hours, or even overnight.
  • Before serving top with crushed Peanut M&M's.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
