1/4cupunsweetened cocoa powder
1/2teaspoonbaking soda
1/4teaspoonsalt
1/2cuplight brown sugarpacked
1/2cupbuttermilk
1large egg
4tablespoonsunsalted buttermelted

1 1/4cuppowdered sugar
3tablespoonsunsweetened cocoa powder
big pinch salt
3 to 4tablespoonswhole milk
2teaspoonspure vanilla extract
Donut toppingssprinkles, sugar crystals, etc
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees and spray your donut pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
To make the donuts: Whisk together all of your dry ingredients, set aside. In another bowl whisk together wet ingredients. Pour the wet into the dry and mix to incorporate. Spoon batter into prepared pan, filling each section about 2/3 full. Bake for 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let donuts cool in pan for about 5 minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Glaze: Whisk together glaze ingredients (minus the sprinkles) pour into a shallow bowl to make "dunking" easier. Dunk the top of the donut into the glaze and place back on wire rack to set. Hint: if glaze begins to thicken too much, microwave for a couple of seconds, whisk and it'll be much easier. Sprinkle donuts with sugar or sprinkles while wet if desired.
