1(12 ounce) packageTri-Colored Rotini Pasta, cooked al dente
1/2cupsour cream
1/2cupmayonnaise
1packet ranch dressing mix
1/4cupreal bacon bits or pieces(or cooked bacon, crumbled)
1(2.25 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
1/3cupgrated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water. Transfer the cooled pasta to a large bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise and ranch dressing mix until smooth.
Pour the ranch dressing mixture over the pasta and gently fold until the pasta is evenly coated.
Add the bacon, drained black olives and Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving, or refrigerate overnight.
Stir well before serving. Add fresh vegetables such as chopped cucumbers or tomatoes, if desired.
Notes
For the best texture, don't overcook the pasta. Cook it just until al dente since it will continue to absorb some of the creamy dressing as it chills. Fresh vegetables are optional and are best added closer to serving time.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days.
