Creamy, cheesy, and full of bold flavor, this BBQ Chicken & Kraut Dip combines tender chicken, melty cheddar and mozzarella, tangy Frank’s Sweet & Smoky BBQ Kraut, and rich BBQ sauce for a hot dip everyone will love. Perfect for sharing, or just sneaking a scoop (or two) yourself!
1(8 ounce) package of shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1(8 ounce)package of shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a shallow 2 quart baking dish with non-stick spray and set aside.
In a mixer, whip together cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, brown sugar, cayenne pepper and paprika until smooth.
Fold in the BBQ Kraut, canned chicken, bell pepper, and the bottoms of the green onions until incorporated.
Mix in half of each shredded cheese.
Spread into the prepared pan, top with remaining green onion tops and dot on some BBQ sauce.
Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes or un the the top is a light golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Serve with tortilla chips.
Notes
Make Ahead: This dip can be assembled up to a day in advance. Cover tightly and refrigerate. When ready to bake, remove it from the fridge while the oven preheats, then bake as directed until hot and bubbly.Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
