Pumpkin Butter Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 15 ounce can pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • cup apple juice
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. 
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
  • Let the pumpkin butter cool before adding it to jars or airtight containers.

Notes

Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container. Freeze for up to one month.
