Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease or spray a 9x5" loaf pan. Set aside.
In a small bowl, coat strawberries with 2 Tablespoons of flour. Set aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream butter and sugar together for about 2 minutes, until light and fluffy. Scrape the sides of the bowl, add in the eggs and vanilla and mix until evenly combined.
Combine flour with baking powder and salt. Add to the butter mixture a little at a time, alternating with the milk. mix until smooth.
Fold in the flour-coated strawberries with a rubber spatula and pour the bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, until a toothpick in the center of the bread, comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes before removing and transferring to a wire rack to cool.
Beat the powdered sugar, vanilla, milk, and strawberries together until the glaze is formed. Pour over bread. Save a little to serve with the bread if you like.
