Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked chicken or turkey diced or shredded
  • 2 10.5 ounce cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup cream or half & half
  • 1/2 cup cooking sherry
  • 2 teaspoons chicken boullion granuals
  • 1 12 ounce package frozen peas & carrots
  • 1 4 ounce can mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine all ingredients (except parsley) and bring to a gentle boil. Turn heat down and simmer for 15-30 minutes, add parsley before serving.
  • Serve over biscuits, pasta orbaked potatoes!

Notes

Adapted from 2 Cookin' Mamas[br][br]** Add some chicken stock to stretch this recipe a little further. If you need to thicken, use a bit of corn starch diluted in water.
