Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3.4 ounce box Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles I used red jimmies and blue sugar crystals
  • 3/4 cup Patriotic Milk Chocolate M&M's or any color for another occasion

Instructions

  • Cream butter and brown sugar with your mixer, until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla, mix to incorporate. Add in the box of instant vanilla pudding, baking soda and salt. Mix in flour until combined. Fold in M&M's and sprinkles.
  • Scoop 1 Tablespoon of dough and roll into a ball. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment. No need to separate them, you will chill all of them before baking. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for about an hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chilled cookies 2" apart on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until edges begin to barely brown. Cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet. Transfer to rack to cool completely. Store in airtight container.
  • Enjoy within 4 day or freeze for up to one month.
