STEP ONE 

Fill pellet grill with apple pellets. Set smoker to smoke for 10 minutes.

Use a sharp knife to lightly crosshatch the skin of each hotdog, you needn’t go any deeper than about ⅛”.

STEP TWO

Sprinkle kraut with caraway seeds, and place kraut in a heat-safe dish. Place hotdogs (crosshatched side up) and kraut on the smoker and smoke for 15 minutes.

Increase heat to 350 degrees and cook for another 15 minutes. Or until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F.
