Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat brown the sausage until no longer pink. 
  • Next, add the butter to the skillet and stir until melted.
  • Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir for a couple of minutes as the flour is completely soaked in. 
  • Whisk the milk into the sausage mixture until smooth.
  • Stir in the salt and pepper adjusting to your taste.
  • Serve hot over biscuits.
