Mushroom Swiss Burger

Ingredients

  • 2 heaping cups of sliced fresh mushrooms white or baby Bella
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • Sea salt
  • 1 ½ pounds of ground beef
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 6 hamburger buns toasted

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat melt the butter. Add in the garlic and mushrooms and saute until the mushrooms are tender and the edges are beginning to brown. Sprinkle with sea salt and remove them from the pan and set them aside. 
  • Patty your burgers and season with salt and pepper. Fry your burgers in the pan drippings or grill your burgers. 
  • Top burgers with sliced cheese and mushrooms and warm until the cheese is melty. 
  • Serve atop your toasted burger bun. 

Notes

We prefer to eat these with only mayo. Top however you prefer!
