Ingredients
For the Cookies:
1stick unsalted butter1/2 cup softened
2cupssugar
4eggs
1teaspoonvanilla
⅔cupsour cream
½teaspoonbaking soda
3teaspoonsbaking powder
4cupsflour
For the Frosting:
1stick unsalted butter1/2 cup softened
¼cupsour cream
2teaspoonsvanilla
½teaspoonsalt
3cupspowdered sugar
Sprinkles or sugar crystals for decorating.
Instructions
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
With a mixer beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream, beat until smooth. Add in baking soda, baking powder and flour, beat on low until incorporated. Dough will be really soft, almost like a cake batter.
Drop by heaping teaspoons 2-3 inches apart bake 10 mins or until edges are golden and centers are set.
Cool.
For the frosting: Beat the butter until creamy. Mix in sour cream and vanilla, add in powdered sugar gradually, beat until smooth.
