Ingredients
2poundschicken wings and drummies
1cupflour
2Tablespoonsoil
1medium sized onionminced
4garlic clovesminced
2Tablespoonsrice vinegar
2/3cupSriracha sauce
1/2cuphoney
Oil for deep frying
Instructions
Prepare the sauce: Heat the oil in a saucepan, on medium heat. Add onions and garlic and cook until tender, stirring often. Add in rice vinegar, Sriracha sauce and honey, bring to a low boil. Simmer for a few minutes and then remove from heat. Cool slightly. Blend with a stick blender until smooth.
Prepare your wings: Wash the wings and dredge them in flour. Shake off the excess flour and deep fry them in 350F oil for about 8-10 minutes. I didn't use my deep fryer -- I pan fried them in about 2" of oil for 4-5 minutes per side.
Place wings on paper towels to remove any excess oil, then toss them with the honey Sriracha sauce.
