Garden Club Hoagie with Veggie Sandwich Spread

Ingredients

  • FOR THE SANDWICH:
  • 4 slices Oscar Mayer Selects Natural Slow Roasted Turkey
  • 4 slices Oscar Mayer Selects Natural Applewood Smoked Ham
  • 1 - 9 inch multi grain hoagie roll
  • 6-8 Cucumber slices we love the English cucumbers
  • 6 Tomato Slices
  • Sandwich Spread
  • FOR THE VEGGIE BACON SANDWICH SPREAD:
  • 8 ounces low fat cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup low mayonnaise
  • 2 whole green onions sliced
  • 1/3 cup celery pieces
  • 1/3 cup matchstick carrots
  • 1 Tablespoon chives
  • 1/2 Tablespoon dill
  • 1/3 cup real bacon bits
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • To make the Sandwich Spread: pulse all of the ingredients in your food processor until smooth. Refrigerate in an airtight container until ready to use.
  • To construct your sandwich: Slice your hoagie in half lengthwise, spread sandwich spread on each side, top with ham on one half and turkey on the other. Top with cucumber and tomatoes. Close bread and slice to make two equal portions.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

The leftover spread is great on toast, bagels, English muffins, etc.
